Service Opportunity Field Trips

Service Opportunity Field Trips

We will be hosting two separate opportunities to participate with Feeding America which is a food bank.  They distribute food donations to smaller food pantries around the state which then distribute the food to people in need.  Feeding America has locations in Appleton and Milwaukee and serve the eastern part of the state.

What will you do?

Project: You will be participating in a packaging, labeling, sorting, or cleaning project. This could range from labeling canned goods to be shipped to food pantries, sorting meat products to provide meal programs with real protein, boxing fresh produce to send to homeless shelters, or packing bulk product into family friendly sized portions. Our operations staff will give you specific information about your task and assist you through your shift. Please note this volunteer activity take place in a warehouse facility.  For safety concerns volunteers must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult.
