Ms. Peachy is in her 9th year at WCA. She teaches Earth Science, Biology, Physical Science, Marine Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Astronomy and Physics. Ms. Peachy lives in Kimberly with her son (17) and daughter (15) and 3 kitties, (2, 5 and 19)! In her free time, she likes to read, golf, camp and raise monarch butterflies.
My name is Lisa Britton and I'm new to WCA. I've taught middle school math for 29 years and I've loved it! This is my first year teaching it virtually and I'm excited about that. I'll be able to make a one to one connection with students instead of seeing over 30 students at one time. I've always loved math and I hope to share that enjoyment with you.
WCA is housed in Appleton which is where I grew up and I currently live in Neenah with my husband and my daughter. My husband is also a teacher at Oshkosh West High School. My daughter, Marina, is a senior at Neenah High School and I love her and my husband deeply. They make me smile a lot. 🙂 We have two cats (Gia and Stinky) and a dog (Tiffany) which are always active. Below is a picture of Marina with Tiffany.
My hobbies consist of a little bit of everything. I enjoy reading. I enjoy scrapbooking and crafts. I have fun on projects around our house. This summer I did a lot of yard work and home. I love to spend time with my family. Sometimes we venture outside the area but sometimes we enjoy simply watching movies together.
Mr. LeMahieu is the Dean of Students. He used to teach 4th grade, 5th grade, and middle school math at WCA. Much of Mr. LeMahieu's role resembles that of a school counselor. He is also the WCA Esports coach. When not working, Mr. LeMahieu enjoys camping, fishing, and following the Wisconsin college and professional sports teams. Mr. LeMahieu's claim to fame is that he was the 4th Grade Checker Champ. If you ask, he will tell you all about it!
