We are proud to announce that the Peer Tutoring Program has returned! This program has been very successful in assisting our students with their math performance. Students receive additional support in Math 6, Math 7, Essential Algebra Readiness, Algebra 1, and Geometry courses.
Peer Tutoring occurs every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 pm (CST). This window of time ensures that students across the country have the opportunity to be tutored. All students should come prepared with specific questions from their textbook. This will help tutors assist students in a more efficient manner. Please note that the Peer Tutors are unable to help out on graded assignments, specifically, portfolios and assessments.
There are several peer tutors and a Peer Tutor Teacher who will be able to assist students through the LiveLesson session Peer Tutor room. To access LiveTutor, follow these simple steps:
1. From your student homepage, click the Links tab.
2. Click on the link for Peer Tutoring, which will take you in a Peer Tutor queue.
3. Locate the text box and enter your:

- Course
- Teacher
- School
- Unit/Lesson
- Page number/ Problem number
Students can attend at any time throughout the session, and their attendance will be recorded in the student’s Log which allows teachers to review the topics covered in the tutoring session.
This is a great opportunity for students to get additional support that they might need with math courses. We look forward to seeing your students at the tutor sessions.
